Abstract
Poverty in El Salvador is multidimensional and multicausal; to address the types of complex and structural problems, the following applies: "The Integral Attention Model", through which the origin of the problems of poverty is identified and, at the same time, the person to strengthen the capacity of be independent in the management of their needs and their resolution. The objective of the article is to socialize one of the processes of research, aimed at transforming and overcoming the conditions of marginalization and poverty of families in the Nahuaterique community. The methodology used was participatory research, with a multidisciplinary approach. An important and main result was the change of individual attitude, they started taking resources from their harvest and shared according to their possibilities; In addition, valuable and unexploited natural resources can be identified, as well as generators of income.
